This week, drag queens are putting their spin on beauty once again, with the release of RuPaul’s You’re A Star Baby Collection. After buying British retailer Feelunique last year, Sephora is finally coming to the UK, with a physical store set to surface in spring 2023. The tremella mushroom trend is continuing to grow, with launches from The Hao Life and Lady Suite. Seasonal launches are also continuing to thrive, with the launch of Dr. Squatch’s Halloween collection and Fenty Beauty’s Holiday collection. Here’s what else happened this week within the beauty industry:RETAILDr. Naomi Skin: The Australian skincare brand founded by cosmetic physician and Instagram personality Dr. Naomi McCullum is now available to purchase in the US. Previously only available in Australia, the skincare is now stocked at the Showfields retail concept store in NYC, for a limited time of six months, which began October 1.Peach Slices Skincare: The acne-focused brand, which is the sister of Peach & Lily, has expanded to Walmart. Set to launch in 3,300 stores nationwide, the range is also available to shop at Ulta, Amazon, and CVS.Sephora: After many years of consumers waiting, Sephora is finally making its return to the UK. From October 17, the beauty retailer Feelunique (feelunique.com) will become Sephora.co.uk. A brick-and-mortar store is set to arrive in London in March 2023.Molton Brown: The newly refurbished flagship store, located on London’s Regent Street, has opened its doors to consumers. The revamp saw the brand work alongside leading design agency Dalziel & Pow, and focuses on interactive experiences that celebrate the brand's roots, as well as sustainability.
